Strength, mindset and lifestyle coaching for busy midlife women who want to feel powerful in their own skin.

HOLSM isn't just a fitness programme

It's a lifestyle, a movement. A place where women from their mid-30s to mid 70s -  all shapes and sizes and stories - come together to build strength, boost confidence and finally feel seen again.  We keep it real, we keep it doable.  And we do it together

What is Holsm?

Holsm is a coaching community for women who are done with the noise, the extremes, and the all-or-nothing cycles.
We help you build strength, confidence and habits that fit into a busy, beautifully imperfect life.

Inside Holsm, you get:

  • Strength training you can actually stick to

  • Hormone-friendly nourishment that doesn’t steal your joy

  • Mindset tools that shift you from self-doubt to self-trust

  • A crew of women cheering you on

  • Coaches who genuinely have your back

This isn’t a quick fix. It’s the foundations of a lifestyle you’ll carry for life.

Be Strong. Be Seen.

Midlife women have spent enough years being told to soften, shrink, fade. Holsm is the opposite.

We are here to help you:

  • Feel powerful in your body

  • Reclaim your visibility

  • Own your space and your story

  • Show up for yourself with pride, not pressure

Holsm is so much more than just workouts. It’s a homecoming.

Meet Holly

I’m Holly — founder of Holsm, strength & mindset coach, mum, ex-dementia care manager, and champion of midlife women who are ready for more.

I built Holsm because too many women felt invisible, overwhelmed, confused by fitness noise, and unsure where to begin.

Over my years of coaching, I’ve learned that staying consistent has nothing to do with discipline — and everything to do with community and accountability. When women feel supported, seen, and backed by others who actually get it, they show up in ways they never imagined possible. And I’ve witnessed the magic that happens when someone becomes physically stronger… and then mentally stronger as a direct result.  Women have walked into my studio carrying the weight of grief, divorce, burnout, illness — you name it. But when they lift heavy, you can almost see that weight fall off their shoulders. For those moments, the world quiets, their power rises, and something inside them shifts. It’s one of the most extraordinary transformations to watch.

My method blends years of coaching, care work and human behaviour with heart, humour and no-nonsense honesty.  I want you stronger, absolutely.
 But I also want you:

Standing taller
Feeling seen
Trusting yourself
Taking up space again

Holsm is the community I wish every woman had.

The Holsm Women

A group of women stand together in a sunlit studio, smiling and talking before or after a Holsm strength and wellness session. Wearing coordinated training tops, they embody the supportive, empowering community at the core of Holsm’s coaching approach—where women build strength, confidence, and sustainable habits alongside others who cheer them on

Our crew includes women who don’t look alike at all — and that’s the whole point.

Mid-30s to mid-70s. Size 8 to size 28. Beginners to seasoned lifters. Mums, carers, non-mums, professionals, retirees.

What they share is this: They are busy! But, they are up for it — up for trying, up for growing, up for being seen again.

You don’t have to look a certain way to belong here. You just have to show up as you are.

I've been so lucky to work with Holly on my fitness and strength this year.  She's a brilliant trainer and is incredibly knowledgeable on how to achieve results, particularly  for post baby!!!  She's amazing at motivating and mixing things up so every session is different and fun but also challenging in the best way.

How Holsm Works

Holsm is built around four core pillars:

1. Mechanics & Movement

Everything we do at Holsm starts with solid foundations. Before we lift heavier, move faster, or mix things up, we focus on mastering the fundamentals — strength training technique, deep-core activation, breath, posture, nutrition, mindset, and smart, safe progressions.

This is why every woman begins with our 8-week Fundamentals First programme. It’s the starting point of your Holsm journey — where you learn the essentials, build body awareness, and create the kind of foundations that set you up for long-term, sustainable strength.

Because when the basics are solid everything else becomes easier, safer, and far more effective.

2. Accountability

Accountability is the heartbeat of Holsm — and one of the biggest reasons our women stay consistent, feel supported, and actually enjoy the journey.

You get check-ins, live Q&As, cheerleading, community threads, and coaches who genuinely notice if you disappear. Not to tell you off — but to pull you back in, remind you of your power, and help you take the next small step.

And underpinning all of this are the Holsm 3 Cs, the core principles that shape everything we do:

Communication

You’re never expected to “just get on with it.” We talk. We check in. We ask, we listen, we support. When things feel hard, you don’t have to go quiet — you get to be held.

Commitment

Not perfection. Not superhuman discipline. Just a willingness to show up as you are, do what you can, and keep going even when life is messy. Our version of commitment is realistic, compassionate and entirely human.

Community

This is the magic.
The Holsm Crew cheering for you, lifting you up, celebrating your wins, and backing you on your wobbly days. Women who get it. Women who want the best for you. Women who make the whole thing fun.

These 3 Cs underpin everything in the Holsm methodology and are exactly why the journey feels successful, sustainable — and genuinely enjoyable.

Holsm isn’t about doing it alone. It’s about knowing you never have to.

The vibrant, nourishing produce reflects Holsm’s approach to hormone-friendly nutrition—supportive, satisfying, and grounded in whole foods that fuel sustainable strength and energy.

3. Nutrition

Our approach to nutrition is simple, supportive and completely free from extremes. We focus on protein-rich, nourishing, hormone-supportive habits that work with your energy, mood and midlife physiology — not against it.

You’ll get easy recipe ideas, practical guides, and clear principles that fit into busy family life. No guilt, no complicated rules, no cutting out everything you love.

And one of Jemma’s favourite mantras leads the way: “What can you add to your plate?” More protein, more colour, more nourishment, more goodness — never restriction.

Just balanced, enjoyable food that helps you feel stronger, steadier and more energised… while genuinely loving what you eat.

4. Mindset

Mindset is the engine of everything we do at Holsm. It’s where real change begins — and where it sticks.

We help you shift from “I have to” to “I choose to.” From pressure to empowerment. From perfectionism to progress.
From all-or-nothing thinking to “What CAN I do today?” — the question that changes everything.

Through coaching, reflection prompts, gentle challenges, and the steady support of the crew, you’ll start to notice the stories you tell yourself… and rewrite them. This is where confidence grows. Where self-trust returns. Where strength becomes part of your identity — not just something you’re trying to achieve.  Because when your mindset shifts? Your whole life does.

Case Study

Mum of Three

I’m a mum of three young children. Before having kids, I used to love exercise and prioritise it each week. But since having children, I’ve never been able to get into any regular, sustainable patterns of exercising — not to mention healthy eating.

I don’t have much time to myself, which is just the nature of having young children. So when I heard about Holsm, I thought, “I wish I had the time to do that, but there’s nowhere I could squeeze that into my day.”  But I was drawn to Holsm precisely because it was for women like me — without much time or energy, but with the drive to try to make it work.

I found the advice from Holsm’s life coach incredibly helpful at the beginning. It challenged my self-limiting belief that “I’m too busy for this.”

I loved how short and flexible the workouts were, which meant I could fit them around almost anything. The nutritional advice was eye-opening and finally made sense of the symptoms I had been feeling in my body for so long.

I don’t think I’ve ever succeeded at giving up sugar in my life before. But with Holly’s encouragement, the group accountability, and understanding how it would benefit me, I managed it — and have more or less maintained it ever since.

Fundamentals First was perfect for my needs:

  • Short, manageable but hugely effective workouts

  • Weekly challenges focused on key nutritional drivers

  • Personal goals to work towards

  • A small group of committed women

  • Holly on tap as a fountain of knowledge, support and encouragement

I can honestly say Holsm has transformed my life — in such a relatively short space of time.

I started in mid-May, lost half a stone in six weeks, feel so much stronger, have far more energy, feel better in myself, and love how my clothes fit now.

The best part? I’ve continued to maintain daily and weekly rhythms ever since — which shows this works.
It’s not faddy. It’s life-changing. And I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
